I am Hani, the founder of ArabTaxCalc. I built the site in 2026 because people working in the Gulf and the wider Arab world could not find one reliable answer to a simple question: how much of my salary do I keep? I review every page. Every rate is taken from the authority that issued it, with the date it was checked, and I update the figures when a rule changes. The site is independent and free.

How I work on the figures

  • Each country has one authoritative source for each kind of figure: the tax law, the social insurance body, the labour law.
  • Every calculator has automated tests built from worked examples taken from the official rules, run before every release.
  • Each country's verification level is published, and what I cannot confirm from an official source is not published.
  • I use AI tools for research and drafting, and check the results against the sources before publishing.
