Every figure in this calculator comes from these sources, last checked on 2 October 2026. The tax scale, professional expenses, social solidarity contribution and job-loss fund levy come from the texts of the Finance Laws and from the code published on the tax administration website. We could not check the 9.18% social security rate (and 16.57% for the employer) on the CNSS website because it was not available, so we relied on matching secondary sources. The exchange rate is worked out from the Bank of Algeria table because the Central Bank of Tunisia website was down. The job-loss insurance fund contribution (0.5%) has been deducted since January 2025 under the Finance Law, but its implementing decree had not been published as of October 2025, so its status in 2026 is not fully confirmed.
